I participated in the 2-Meter Good Morning net this-morning on the Greenwood Nova Scotia, on repeater 147.240 +. I'm impressed with high level of professionalism, discipline and structure of this net. I would strongly recommend any ham operators to participate in this Daily Net which gets underway roughly around 7:30-AM Local Time. And there's always a fair to a large number of check-ins on this repeater net. As of 8:51-AM There were 31 check in's alone, and the net isn't even over yet, and operators are still checking in

The radio operators on the above frequency also conduct a Weekly Red Cross Net on the above Repeater every Thursday Faithfully starting at 12:30-PM, And then move the Red Cross Net to HF FREQUENCY 3.770.00

It would be great in my opinion if the Saint John Ham Radio Club LCARC could have and operate a similar daily net like the Above. But then again this is Saint John, and that says it all. I find the local Saint John Operators would rather fight about getting something constructive going, instead of just tackling whatever and JUST DO IT : But then again that may take some work, and the club executive again in my opinion only, might not be Local Heroes Of The Ham Radio AIRWAVES, IF ONLY 1 or 2 Dedicated operators could get something of a positive going. Their Local web site is also outdated on a lot of information posted on their site. Hell, there isn't even a membership list posted on their Web Site.
