Why Call For Volunteers, If Whoever Is Calling For Them Isn't Going To Use Them ?

WEATHER WARNINGS UP FOR NEW BRUNSWICK:

The below call for Volunteers appeared in one of the editions of the Morning Local Newspapers here in Saint John. One of the Local Ham Operators who Volunteers out here at the Ville when we live, does countless hours of Volunteer Work. He applied to this call for Volunteers as a Radio Dispatchers for the Grand Bay/Westfield Fire & Rescue Department, " and never even received A Simple Phone Call from the people who put out the Call for Volunteers for the below.

Maybe it's because they didn't think he was Qualified, and I say this Sarcastically. He was only a Radio Operator for the U.S.M.C back in 1968 while posted in Da Nang Vietnam. Was also a Military/Civilian Ham Radio Operator for Canada's CFARS Program. Canadian Forces Affiliated Radio Service, in addition to being one of the most popular radio announcers in Saint John from late 1969 until 1991. And was also an Auxiliary RCMP with Hampton for a couple of Years This isn't very nice, fair or professional. " I CAN'T HELP BUT WONDER, if he wasn't even called because the person I'm talking about is Physically Disabled "
